Preparing For An Appointment

Once you have scheduled your initial appointment with Wilson Home Veterinary Care, there are a few things you can do to prepare for your appointment so that together we can provide you and your pet with a superior veterinary experience.

We would like to meet you! Sometimes we know it is impossible to be home for your visit as we all have busy lives, however for the initial visit we ask that you schedule a time when you can be there personally as we would like to make sure we can get as much history about your pet as possible, and who knows your beloved pet better than you!

Also it is helpful if we can get any medical records you have for your pet including vaccinations, major medical problems, surgeries and medications prior to our visit so that we can best address the needs of your pet.

For cat owners: As we all know our frisky feline friends have an uncanny ability to hide on us at the absolute worst times. If your cat falls into this category please either close all doors and closets so he/she can’t hide, or if it is easier confine them to the bathroom about 30-60 minutes before we arrive.
